Back in August, we introduced you to the 2014 GMC Sierra. Now, it’s time for you to meet its little brother. Introducing the 2015 GMC Canyon.
The all-new midsize pickup will bring heaps of segment-first features that will make it one of the most advanced midsize pickups available later this year. These standard and available features will include but are not limited to:
- CornerStep rear bumper
- Projector-beam headlamps with LED Signature lighting
- Electronic Power Steering
- Autotrac transfer case
- Active Aero Grille Shutters
The Canyon will also feature an available IntelliLink 8-inch Color Touch Screen radio like the one available in other current GMC models. This system allows easy access to infotainment, phone, and navigation through customizable icons and voice commands. This system will feature up to 4 USB ports and a cord management system to keep all passengers well connected at all times. Beginning in summer of this year, OnStar will offer 4G LTE with built-in Wi-Fi in this vehicle.
Like the Sierra, the Canyon was engineered to provide a comfortable, quiet ride through advanced aerodynamics, triple door seals, liquid applied sound deadener, and thick windshield. The Canyon will feature the same safety technology found on its bigger brother, including a standard rear vision camera and available forward collision alert and lane departure warning.
